Does anyone know anh organization that helps needy college students to get Microsoft software they need for school?
I know the information I am giving you is not Microsoft but it is legal and a free alternative to MS Office if that is what you are looking for.
i never got mine for ffree software microsoftree, but they do give a discount for teachers and students.
You can't get it for free, but you can often get a discount. The first place to check is with your school, since they often have contracts for discount software with various software vendors. Try checking with the bookstore orfree software microsoft the IT department to see if this option is available to you. Also, try checking with local retailers since they may offer a discount. I don't know if they still do it, but my local CompUSA used to offer a student discount if you presented current ID and proof of enrollment.
