My computer(laptop) is infected with 69 viruses and I want 2 get rid of them as soon as I can.I downloaded lots of Antivirus software(s) but none of them can remove any virus. Please provide me a link for free download of Full Download. And please tell me what antivirus software(s) do you use. Please tell me...
1) Tell us the name of the program that is trying to get you to believe that you have 69 viruses.
2) Uninstall any *legitimate* antiviruses that you installed trying to fix this.
3) Microsoft Security Essentials is a half-decent program, but it won't remove the rogue program that that is trying to scare you.
As I said at the beginning, it will help to know the name of the rogue program that said you have all the malware... but in the mean time -
Download and update the free versions of Superantispyware (SAS) and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM), run a full system scan with SAS and a *quick* scan with MBAM, and let them remove whatfree software for download they find.
> Superantispyware:
> Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:
Post back - preferably with the name of the fake program - and let us know what's going on.
And thank you all for your support.Once I downloaded MSE and it said that it didn't find any infection$(viruses) but the others some said it had found 69 viruses while others told me that they had found 1499 virus(es).Additional help is also welcum...
You should run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as heebus_jeebus said but to make sure that there's nothing that will block you from removing the infection run RKill first:
This virus thing has also affected my shockwave flash player and even does not allow me from re-installing it!
Yohooo! Your antivirus software(s) are removing the virus(es)!Thanx heebus-jeebus and Simply RED free software for download
Thanks to Simply RED for finishing up, and good luck to thecooldude2221.
Thanxx
You may try AVG Free...Google "AVG Technologies" and visit that company (AVG Technologies) website for obtaining free as well as paid (if you so desire, eventually) software. Download software that you require. That decision will have to be yours, although, you may like to consult some of your skilled friends too! All this will, of course, require a discrete amount of patience!
Microsoft Security Essentials is probably the best of the free ones. Here's a link.
I use this for a couple of machines in the house but McAfee for the business machines.
you can use Comodo
microsoft security essentials. If that doesnt work, reinstall windows
